Two parties in one! Buzz Lightyear and Sprinkles!! My two littles both have their birthday in August. I decided to have their birthday party together but I wanted them to feel like they had their own theme as well. After making a drawing, many trips to the craft and dollar store, kidnapping borrowing my mom's Cricut and burning myself with a hot glue gun, I saw it all came together. Take a look. :)

8 months old!

Just look at him!!

Aiden has a tooth! I can't believe how fast it happened and how early (compared to Hailey). He is 5 1/2 months. He has another tooth that should be fully broken through here soon. I must say, he is a great teether. :)

Aiden is 5 months!

This little man is going through a growth spurt! I have no idea how much he weighs but he is definitely longer and filling out more! He loves to feast on his bottles. :) Mommy's pumped milk is yummy!

Aiden's Dedication

On January 23rd we dedicated Aiden! He was the fussiest that morning than he has ever been before. He screamed for two hours straight at home! He continued at church but calmed down when it came time for his dedication. :) I guess he was teething.

Nana, papa, Aunt Stephanie, Aunt Rachel and of course Sean, Hailey and I were there along with our church family.

That Sunday was also Sanctity of Life Sunday which was neat that we celebrated life that day!

My little man! He is growing so fast already! He chugs his milk and loved his avocados, bananas and sweet potatoes. He is a joy to have around! (His sister would agree)

Oh me oh my!

I have house fever! Gotta get out! Gotta go somewhere! But, not yet. :/ We have been struck by a mutant virus. I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel though!

I must brag on my mom. She first came over to help me potty train Hailey. Then I came down sick and my mom braved the virus, continued to potty train Hailey and take care of me. Hailey is pee trained all thanks to my mom!!! (Still working on the poop)

A few cute things:

Hailey says "Yup. Sure did!"

I told Hailey she is a big girl now that she pees on the potty. She brought her eyebrows together and said "No mommy! I Hailey!!"

I said to Aiden that he is a cute boy and Hailey said "No. He's Aiden!". I said "Yes. But he is a boy too. And you are a girl, Hailey.". Hailey replied "No. I Hailey". Then I said Jacob (Hailey's friend) is a boy. By that point Hailey was a little aggravated and pushed her eyebrows together, gave me a funny look and got up.

One of Aiden's bottles was missing. Then I had a hunch... Look in Hailey's play kitchen. Yup. It was in one of the cabinets. :)

The shirt says it all. :) Thank you God for our many blessings, our two wonderful children and our family and friends.

Disney!!!

Hailey is dressed up as Minnie mouse and has her Minnie mouse dolls beside her but little does she know we are about to rock her Mickey and Minnie mouse world! We are planning a trip to Disney!!!!!!! Yay for Christmas money funding the trip and for Hailey being under 3 years old so we don't have to buy her a ticket! :)

The brown widow

If you google brown widow, there is lots of information on the little creature. The black widow is more commonly known. Unfortunately, the brown widow is very common around our house. One day Sean and I found 12 just outside our front door. Maybe they are rampant because the neighborhood used to be an orange grove? Well, the picture shows a mark on my hand of a brown widow spider bite that miraculously didn't seem to effect me much.

I was cleaning the back patio preparing for Hailey's playdate friends to arrive when I felt a distinct pinch and automatically dropped the toy I was holding to watch a fair sized brown widow crawl away from the handle I was holding. Eeeek! I freaked out and called Sean. We prayed and my mom came over to take care of the kids while I wait to see if I need to go to the hospital. I had some symptoms but it never escalated and seemed to go away as time passed. Praise God!!! They playdate went great with 17 babies/kids in the house and running outside and a fun time talking with friends. I dumped all the milk I pumped that day. I am extra extra careful when I touch anything outside though! God is good!!!

I like my sister's Bumbo but there is just something off about the color! ;)

14 weeks old! Oh how time flies! He should model for Banana Republic. :)

The Christmas Tree

We had fun as a family decorating the Christmas tree in the living room. The next day I pit up a second Christmas tree in the dining room and Hailey decided to decorate with whatever she found around the house. :)

Uh-oh!

This is what I found this morning! We have a thumb sucker! He must have found it on his own early morning. I gave him a paci and hopefully he will learn those are better (easier to take those away than thumbs)!

12 weeks!

Things Hailey does and says...

To get my attention Hailey knocks on me like a door.

Hailey hugged me and said "My mommy!". I love it!!!!!

Looking at all the cookies I made while Hailey was sleeping she walked in the kitchen and said "what happened?" then she said "oh gosh wow!"

Hailey loves to get her plastic stool out and pull it up to the kitchen counter to see. When I am in the kitchen cooking Hailey comes in and says "I helpchoo!" (I help you) and grabs various items from the pantry and puts them in the counter.

Holding her baby doll she said "oh gosh! You have poo poo baby! Eeewww!"

Hailey had her hair in a pony tail and suddenly it was gone. I asked her where her hair tie was and she said "nose" as she pointed to her nose. Thirty minutes later I ask her again for her hair tie and she again said "nose" and pointed to her nose. "Hailey, did you put your hair tie in you nose?!". She said "oooook" and pulled her hair tie from her Mickey mouse sofa.

Hailey 's fish Yogi died. We told her he went bye bye. We went to the store to buy another beta fish. At the cash register Hailey said "Mommy! I found Yogi!"
